Time and time again,
Time and mindless time again,
You don't see past it do you?
This charade that occurs time and time again.
I refuse to sit here and watch,
As they parade around me in their webs of gold,
Watching as they destroy, and rebuild,
Only to destroy once more.

Time and time again,
I watch you approach,
Shirking back in fear as you revel in the truth.
The same truth of which you abhore,
You stick in the ideal philosophy,
That you so loosely combine into everyday life,
Which in turn makes you a need to be,
A feeler for the rest of the world.

Time and mindless time again,
I drone on in my mind.
Never taking the time or effort to voice such,
Civil disobediance to your whimsical scenario's.


Time and time again,
I miss the what was,
And wish I could replace it for the what is,
Time and mindless time again.

Time and time again,
I wind down,
too afraid to move,
The phobia which I beat back,
Revealing it's nasty head once again,
Time and mindless time again.

the third line in the second stanza is my favorite. i like the thoughts and movements involved in this.
